Music Production and Recording Lessons in Worcester

Based in Worcester city centre, our recording suite allows you to record your music and learn music production with  guidance and advice from our teaching team.

For many musicians, regardless of ability, recording is a natural step in their learning journey. Many find it as interesting as the playing itself or may simply prefer the art of crafting a well recorded and mastered track.


Our recording studio located in Worcester is ideal for: -


  • Recording; whether you have a fully formed song or just the beginnings of an idea we can help you get it down. Our studio suites an artist looking to record guitar, vocals, keys either as a single or multi-track setup with drum loops or programmed beats. We can provide equipment as required or fill in on the skills where you're not as confident!
  • Music Production; gain the foundational skills required to record, mix and master your own music. Our teaching team can help you learn the essential techniques of recording and music production.
  • Learning Progression; back up your instrument learning by recording your playing for both critiquing and for fun! Hearing back your own music is a great way to improve technique and style.


We are an active teaching school and as such a member of our team will always be on-hand to support you.

Recording Suite Pricing

Our music production suite can be booked in one, two or three hour sessions.


  • One Hour Recording Session £45; ideal for teaching scenarios or to support your learning activities.
  • Two Hour Recording Session £90; perfect for recording a simple one or two track song.
  • Three Hour Recording Session £135; for more complex arrangements, where you want to introduce multiple instrumentation or more involved mixing is required.


All sessions include supervision, instruction and guidance from one of our teaching team. For any option simply select your preferred engineer and book your time slot.

Where to Find Us in Worcester

Our Worcester recording premises is located on the 1st Floor of 63 Broad Street (opposite HSBC). There is ample parking throughout the City Centre.

  • What do you charge for music production and recording lessons?

    The recording suite can be booked for £55 an hour (or £45 for Rockphonix members) which includes an engineer to guide and assist you through the process.


    We also offer a fixed package for £130 which to record and mix a single track. This includes three hours of studio and engineer time and is ideal for simpler singer/songwriter style recordings.

  • What is your approach to teaching music production?

    Rockphonix is not a traditional music school in that our approach to teaching is largely informal based on the aspirations of the student.


    So whether you are a complete beginner or a more established muscician we can help.

  • Where are you located in Worcester?

    The Rockphonix premises is located on the first floor of 63 Broad Street. We are opposite HSBC (you will see our signs in the window). The entrance is located to the right.


    Please note that unfortunately it is stairs access only to the teaching rooms and studio.

  • Do you teach music production to beginners?

    We absolutely teach those who are entirely new to music production! Our teachers are accustomed to working with students of all ability levels.

  • What ages do your music production lessons cater for?

    Typically music production is suited to those aged 14 and above. A basic understanding of computers and software use is helpful.

  • When are your business hours?

    The time of your lesson will depend on both yours and your teacher's availability. We recommend booking a regular slot if possible.


    Our teachers are often flexible in their availability right up to 8pm at night.


    Our reception is open Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 3pm so please do feel free to call in. Outside of these times please email us all leave a message.
