Georgina is a British-born Chinese pianist and teacher, with 20 years of experience playing the piano. After graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama under the tutelage of Richard Ormrod and James Kirby, she continued her studies with Richard at the Royal Northern College of Music for her Masters Degree where she achieved a Distinction. Since pursuing music further at the conservatoire, Georgina has enjoyed performing in different prestigious venues, including the Steinway Hall in London and Dora Stoutzker Hall in Cardiff. During her studies, she was selected to participate in numerous masterclasses with International Steinway Artists such as Piers Lane, Jonathan Biss, Cédric Tiberghien and Llŷr Williams. Having gained much insights through learning and working with such highly acclaimed pianists, she hopes to further pass on these knowledge and skills to her students.
