I began writing music at the age of 9, inspired by my grandmother, who played piano and accordion. Now, with over 20 years of experience in the music industry, I’ve come to realize that while there are plenty of formal education options, what’s often missing is the one-on-one mentoring and coaching that can make all the difference. The music industry is ever-changing, often fickle, and can sometimes feel quite overwhelming or lonely. Looking back, I wish I’d had a mentor during some of the more challenging parts of my journey. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of training with incredible teachers who shaped who I am today. I’ve learned from leading vocal coach Georgia Train, and studied piano under concert pianists Maggie Anders
