I began McConnell's Guitar Tuition because I wanted to create a more personal guitar lesson experience. I spent several years working for some of the big franchise music tuition services and I learnt a lot at those places, but felt that as a guitar teacher I wanted to be able to really focus my lessons on students' individual aims. Since starting McConnell's I have helped dozens of students achieve all sorts of goals. From helping them through their first on-stage performances and recordings, to passing grade exams and meeting the entry requirements for prestigious University places. Helping them set and beat their goals is what makes being a guitar teacher worthwhile!
